Your responsibilities with us

  • Acquiring new customers and strengthening existing customer relationships in our target sectors, e.g. aerospace, industry & automation, and motorsport
  • Technical consultancy for our national and international clients on all aspects of fibre-reinforced composite and lightweight construction solutions
  • Technical assessment of customer enquiries, specifications and construction documents – design, feasibility and suitable manufacturing technology – in collaboration with Engineering and Production
  • Preparing cost estimates and quotations, and conducting price and contract negotiations
  • Ensuring that the customer’s quality requirements are met – from the initial enquiry through to series production
  • Project management and project support for national and international clients, acting as the central point of contact between the client, engineering and production
  • Incorporating market and customer requirements into the optimisation of our products and manufacturing processes (CIP)
  • Market monitoring, competitive analysis and participation in trade fairs and industry events
  • Securing and participating in German and European research projects

What you need to bring with you

  • As an engineer (m/f/d), you will have a good knowledge of fibre composites and lightweight construction
  • You have some initial experience in technical sales and project-based business with industrial clients
  • You have a strong understanding of commercial processes, costing and tendering, and you think in an entrepreneurial way
  • Ideally, you will have some experience of ERP systems (preferably SAP) and knowledge of EN 9001/9100
  • You have excellent communication skills and the patience to listen to customers in order to fully understand the task at hand
  • You are prepared to travel nationally and internationally to visit customers, attend trade fairs and meet partners
  • You have a native speaker’s command of German, our company language, and a C1/C2 level of English
